Once you get back to the dry land, you will continue to explore the park on foot, discovering secrets of the par and making your way from the lower lakes to the upper lakes. A short panoramic ride in an electric train will lead you back to the starting point where you’ll be able to relax and rest your legs in the bus that will take you back home.
Before reaching Split, you will have one more stop along the way – famous Croatian cuisine restaurant which is a must see stop for everyone who travels from the north to the south of Croatia. There you will have an opportunity to taste some of the specialties of the Lika Region or take a short walk to stretch your legs.
You will get back to Split early in the evening full of wonderful memories and well rested from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

Never done a real tour before and the bar has been set extremely high. Me and my friend caught an early minibus with our tourguide Petar and the drive ( who was amazing and I can’t remember his name!). It was a long journey but Petar kept us entertained with interesting I
Historical information as well as current information of the surrounding area on our journey.
We got to the park and it was just out of this world. The pictures never do it justice – you must go to experience it. We were always informed of what the plan was and Petar was friendly, ensuring he interacted with the whole group as he led us through a pleasant walk around key features of the park.
We were taken to a restaurant for lunch and given some excellent recommendations for food.
I can’t express enough- if you are in the area, you must go! You will miss out if you don’t.

First of all, if you are booking a tour through this company and Petar Pulic is the guide, do not hesitate to book your trip. This is the only company you need.
Petar is a Croatian national treasure, he made the 3.5 hour trip to Plitvice and back very enjoyable. I am a huge history nerd and the extent of his knowledge on Croatian history from the ancient times until today was superb and extremely interesting. I hung on every word.
The bus is fantastic, it had great air conditioning and sound quality from Petar’s microphone and we had a safe and pleasant trip. The tour itself was great, Petar took us through the best route where we barely had to stand in line and went against the flow the whole time, resulting in barely any waiting time until we reached the big waterfall.
Petar was also quick to swoop in and take your camera and leave you with amazing photos. He even taught me how to use the panorama function on my phone camera which I didn’t know was there. Not only that, but he was funny and a great conversationalist with very engaging views on Croatia’s current political and social issues.
Petar clearly cares about his job and his passion shows, he even gave us all his personal number to use via WhatsApp to contact him wherever we went in Croatia for tips, places to eat, things to see, whatever we needed. That is above and beyond. Petar cares that you leave his country with a positive impression and experience.
Gray Line, keep Petar around – he made our trip to Croatia that much more amazing.

Our trip from Split to Plitvice was very nice. I have been there in Plitvice lakes once before but I needed to come back. We went there by minibus and we had a guide called Petar. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He told us a lot about Croatia and Croatias history. Plitvice is unbelievable!
